Certification Program Should Fulfil the Sense of Justice

Jakarta, Kompas (08/10/07): For the sake of accountability and transparency, teachers from the entire education units should be involved in certification process. Their involvement will accommodate teachers’ aspiration and allow them to participate. For that purpose, each education unit should establish teachers’ council.

Certification is too fast, Teachers not ready

Jakarta (Jurnal Nasional: 04/09/07) Many teachers are weak in academic achievement, scientific forum, experiences in organization and award in education field. Since two weeks ago, National Education Ministry has started announcing the result of teachers’ certification. Not many teachers managed to pass the certification assessment.
