Sampoerna Language Centre (SLC) Launched

ImageJakarta (Kompas: 15/08/06) Sampoerna Language Centre was officially launched at the Sampoerna Strategic Square in Jakarta last week (08/09). The ceremony was led by Sapto H Sakti, Commissioner of PT Sampoerna Education, and attended by Endy M Bayuni, Chief Editor of The Jakarta Post, Yos Adiguna Ginting, Human Resource Director of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk and Sudradjat Rasyid, Deputy III for Entrepreneurship of Youth and Sport Industry.

The inauguration was marked with the cutting of a tumpeng cone of rice by Kathleen Sampoerna offered to Claudia Mayasari, the Operation Head. SLC offers language training programs such as General English, Business English, Exam Preparation Classes, TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program), TOEFL Prediction Score, and Mandarin language training. SLC also opens classes for expatriates in Jakarta who wish to learn Indonesian language. It also offers in-house English training program for companies wishing to improve their employees’ foreign language proficiency. SLC helps business players to develop their foreign language skill which is a big investment in this global trade era.
