Jakarta (Media Indonesia: 04/08/06) Two major problems facing education in Indonesia are lacking access to education and the quality of education institutions. Therefore, Sampoerna Foundation - in cooperation with Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) - tries to offer an alternative solution by opening Sampoerna School of Business and Management ITB (SSBM ITB).
“The cooperation with ITB is an implementation of our commitment to help education industry in Indonesia,” said Sampoerna Foundation Marketing and Communication Director Sapto Handoyo Sakti in Jakarta on Tuesday (08/01). According to Sapto, the people’s access to education offered by the government is still inadequate. Therefore, Sampoerna Foundation tries to make some improvement by helping the government through its scholarships programs. |
