Student Loan

The student loan program is a joint arrangement between Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII), International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Sampoerna Foundation (SF). The objective is to provide financial support in the form of non-collateralized loans for undergraduate and post graduate (Master and Doctorate) students in educational institutions across Indonesia.

This loan is specifically designed to help Indonesian students attain higher education degrees and to reduce the drop out rate. As risk-sharing participants, SF, BII, and IFC, each supports the program with their individual expertise. SF provides its know-how in the education area, BII manages the loan and promotion process of the program, while IFC monitors and provides input to ensure the program’s success.
