SF USP
- United Schools Program has been implemented in 17 Schools Sumatra, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi dan Bali, and Madrasah Quality Improvement Program has been implemented in 5 Madrasahs in Java and Madura.
- Notable improvements were experienced by several USP adopted schools two years since the program’s implementation. Students’ schores in English, Mathematics, and Economics increased by more than 19%.
- The rank of USP schools also improved significantly. For instance, SMAN 4 Denpasar, which was previously ranked in 41st position, now ranks 8th at the national level.
SCHOLARSHIP
- SF has granted more than 30,000 scholarships to promising yet financially disadvantaged students from elementary through to graduate school levels.”
- Our MBA scholarship recipients inlcude those securing entries to prestigious academic institutions such as the Harvard Business School (Harvard University), Haas School of Business (University of California, Berkely), Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), London Business School, and other leading business schools across the globe.
Sampoerna SBM-ITB
- In 2007, Sampoerna SBM-ITB was awarded international memberships from the finest business school association institutions such as the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), USA.
- Four intakes of Sampoerna SBM-ITB Executive MBA programs were successfully opened this year to accommodate 78 highly qualified executive level students.
Education Recovery
- Our programs have directly and positively affected the lives of more than 10,000 students from all levels of education in disaster-afflicted areas.
- 800 teachers in Aceh have received proper training in both pedagogy and subject-matter knowledge in efforts to improve the academic performance of 11,200 of their students.
- By being “first in” to these areas where natural catastrophes struck, we have been able to improve the morale of the victims and motivate other responders.
SF Teacher Institute
- As of December 2007, SF Teacher Institute has provided professional development training for more than 8,000 teachers across Indonesia.
- In collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, SF TI holds a national scale teacher conference every year. The second Indonsia’s Teacher Congress (Konferensi Guru Indonesia) attracted more than 1,100 participants.
Student Loan
- By December 2007, 25 education institutions in Indonesia have partnered with us to endorese and promote the student loan program.
- This program makes us the first student loan program in Indonesia offering one of the lowest interest rates compared to other existing education loans, and with no administrative cost.
