SF-PT AIG Life: In Search of First-Class Employees

ImageOn 16th February 2006, PT AIG Life had initiated a partnership with Sampoerna Foundation (SF) in offering internship opportunities for SF scholarship recipients in tertiary level.

During the meeting, both parties, Eddy F Henry, SF Program and Alumni Affairs Director and Robert W. Bush, President Director of PT AIG Life, signed the agreement for the internship program.

Robert stated that his company was always in the lookout for potential employees, particularly those with high academic achievement and strong English language skills. One reason behind such requirement was the frequency of English usage in his office. As a member company of American International Group, Inc (AIG), they deal with their American counterpart on daily basis, particularly during telephone-conference to and from America.

Eddy confirmed by saying, “SF hopes that its overseas alumni can fulfill the high standard that PT AIG Life has set for its prospective recruits. Moreover, SF also has local alumni with first-rate English proficiency as all of them have to undergo intensive English trainings during their academic years.”

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their enthusiasm about working together on the program.
