Since mid 2005, SF USP has been implemented in fourteen schools as pilot projects. Here is the map of the schools. The schools are:
How Schools are Selected for SF USP Our SF USP schools are rigorously selected based on the commitment of the local government, the National Education Department (Dewan Pendidikan Nasional=DIKNAS), the principals and the teachers of the school amongst other factors. The selected schools must have a desire and commitment for improvement. Most of SF USP schools lack suitable physical facilities; however, and development of these is are supported by the local government
Education in Schools during and after SF USP
Principals and teachers keep in regular contact with each other other, sharing ideas for better management and professional development. Students participate in many programs such as, community service projects, Toastmasters, moral and character development programs, language development programs, as well as various academic training activities.
