Cooperation between Sampoerna Foundation and Bank BTN is one of the examples of partnerships that bring positive impact to education in Indonesia, especially in the provision of scholarships for students having good academic achievement. This program is aimed at ensuring the sustainability of teaching and learning activities without relying too much on the fund from the government. If we look closely, we learn that not all BTN debtors are the well-offs. Many of those who take the KPR housing credit are from middle- and lower-income groups who need assistance including scholarships to support the education of their children who are still in junior and senior high school.
